outrigger - and dead end......
Why did they have to do such a bad job implementing such a fine product? Sigh.

it seems that you have to turn on the lamps as light sources in the Internal Render Engine photorender settings, not the Lightworks settings.
I never even look at the Internal Engine stuff anymore, so I hadn't bothered trying there.
This has always been so. And the Internal engine is what the ArchiCAD looks for in any operation - the LightWorks is a layer - or a storey? - above.
So remember: when exporting to Artlantis, start with the Internal engine. Lightworks does not export to Artlantis, but does the job itself.

Hi...I am having the same problem and I am sorry to report no solution yet...
I have tried to install...re-install...etc...no luck and same error in the add-on manager that the add-on is outdated??!!
I just upgraded my system to Vista64 and then re-booted into my XPpro 32 bit system (be happy if you are using on a mac) to see if it still worked there and it did...did notice that the add-on was v1.5...so maybe there is a problem with the recent Archicad build and the new v1.7 maxwell?
I am going to try to load the v1.5 and see if that add-on works until a solution comes about. Hopefully then at least we can OPEN up the maxwell render option...
I will post any solution if i find it...good luck

For some reason in a rendering that looks through my model, the windows on the other side appear to be black. I have window lights placed on the window which is evident from the the light on the ceiling. I also have a sun and a sky object outside. There is an undersun too which seems to be working a little too well. Does anyone have any idea what would make these windows show up like this? I have attached the rendering as well as my Lightworks settings. Please let me know if I am missing something!

La la la la la. Swell.
You new guys think LightWorks is the schnitz while I merely see it as an outrigger to what is really going on. Never thought anyone would think elsewise.
